Effective from 11 April 2026
What's collected
When you use Hauler's on-line multiplayer functionality, your Playdate will connect to Hauler's internet services and send information to facilitate on-line play. This includes your Playdate account name, if available.
What's recorded
A record of your on-line gameplay—including the moves you make, how long the on-line session lasted, and whether there were any connection problems—may be recorded in aggregate and used to understand how Hauler is used (for example, how many players an average game has and how long games last).
No identifying or individual information like Playdate account names, device identifiers, or IP connection details are recorded, so they can't be accessed later.
Third-party services
Hauler's on-line services are operated by DigitalOcean and Cloudflare, which may process connection metadata (such as IP addresses) as part of normal server operation. No gameplay or account data is intentionally shared with or made available to third parties.
