If Trophy Case doesn't open or crashes
Learn what to do if Trophy Case doesn't open or your Playdate crashes when you open or use Trophy Case.
If Trophy Case shows error e3 or e4
If Trophy Case shows error e3 or e4, it means that your Playdate OS is incompatible with the version of Trophy Case you're using. Make sure that you update your Playdate OS and download the latest version of Trophy Case.
If Trophy Case crashes when you open it
If Trophy Case crashes when you open it, Trophy Case's data might be corrupted.
If you have previously used a beta version of Trophy Case, you may need to delete the old data before using the new version. Otherwise, download the latest version of Trophy Case.
If the issue persists, try deleting Trophy Case's data. This won't delete any achievements you've earned, but it will reset your statistics.
To delete Trophy Case's data:
- Open the Settings app on your Playdate.
- Go to Games, then find Trophy Case in the list.
- Click Delete Game Data to delete Trophy Case's data.
If you see an error about main.pdz when opening Trophy Case
Trophy Case is meant to be used on a Playdate console, and won't work on the Simulator.
